Description
The department specializes in teaching the basic medical subjects, which are microbiology, physiology, histology, and biochemistry, to first- and second-year students. The department also teaches periodontal therapy for third and fourth year students, which is an important subject among the specialization subjects for dental students.

Progress and scientific and academic leadership in the field of periodontal treatment and oral biology and their application to serve society through the following:
